It can rotate on two planes, and has a large sliding area to offer maximum flexibility in both horizontal and vertical directions. This design minimizes shear on the chain and sliding surface, and offer versatility to handle a broad range of applications. To provide extended wear life, the pin bearing surfaces and some sliding surfaces are induction hardened.
