Fittings Product Line

We are proud to offerseveral models of fittings.

• Solvent Weld injection-molded fittings are primarily used in sanitary piping systems. Chemically fused to PVC pipes, these fittings help creating systems that can resist large tensile loads without pulling apart. They are not affected by sewer gases, sulfuric acid or aggressive soil conditions. They are available in sizes from 3″ to 8″.
• Injection molded Blue Brute Fittings feature thick walls and a tough layer of fiberglass for extra protection. Corrosion-resistant, super-tough and finished in glossy PVC that eliminates tuberculation common in metal products, these fittings help maintain high water quality and minimize pumping costs. They are available in sizes ranging from 4″ to 18″, and come with standard or Nitrile gaskets.
• Compact and lightweight, Philmac fittings provide leak-proof seals that are easy to install fit into tight spaces. They arrive pre-assembled for quick installation.

Fittings Manufacturing Process

Solvent Weld fittings are fused to pipes through the application of a solvent to the surface of a PVC pipe spigot as well as to the inside of a matching bell. The solvent dissolves some of the chemical bonds in the plastic, and “melts” the bell and spigot together. As the solvent slowly evaporates, the joint essentially functions as a continuous pipe.
