No separate head module required

Unlike typical signal conditioners, ClipX does not require a separate head module to process data directly.
With the Plug and Play principle, users can plug up to six devices simultaneously in one modular setup and calculate measured information in advance. ClipX provides all the latest automation interfaces to integrate the unit perfectly into comprehensive control concepts. The intuitive web interface allows diagnosis, parameterization, and remote operation.
Among the measurement inputs of ClipX are full-bridge and half-bridge strain gauges, a piezo-resistive transducer, a potentiometer, Pt100m, current, and voltage. Its interfaces include PROFINET, EtherCAT, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP, analog, digital-I/O, and Ethernet. This signal conditioner is also compatible with Industry 4.0, with remote diagnosis, health monitoring, and web integration.
ClipX offers fast, digital signal conditioning for force sensors, load cells, torque sensors, and pressure transducers, plus temperature and standardized signals. It offers guaranteed measurement accuracy, even in harsh environments with electrical interference. One can operate the sensors as intrinsically safe devices in potentially explosive atmospheres in combination with the SD01A Zener barrier. Users obtain reliable results and trustworthy acquisition of mechanical and electrical quantities.
Another advantage of ClipX: faster industrial processes, which provide a high sample range and high bandwidth for easy use in automation, plus quick setup and diagnoses with the display and intuitive web interface.
