One of the newest innovations available fromHytrolis the Model 25-PVEZD, a Heavy Duty Accumulating live roller conveyor built to handle zero-pressure accumulation of products.

The Model 25-PVEZD is a conveyor with rollers driven by a Poly-V belt. It is most ideal for pallets, drums, containers, and similar loads.

Uses EZLogic and EZDrive

Available fromNorpakwith optional, adjustable HSN-type floor supports, the Model 25-PVEZD roller conveyor uses two innovative types of technology developed by Hytrol: the EZDrive System and the EZLogic Accumulation System. EZDrive is a system involving a zone starter box that provides power to the gear motor and allows it to be controlled by the EZLogic zone controller while preventing overload.

EZLogic employs a method of zero-pressure control blending high sensing accuracy with electronic logic control, using a special zone controller. Other EZLogic features include: dynamic zone allocation, which automatically adjusts zone lengths to accommodate product lengths; a sleep feature, which stops tread rollers when no items are loaded; and loading and unloading zone features.

With the 25-PVEZD, products can be accumulated in different zones and released on request. Other features and specifications for this roller conveyor include the following:

• Shaft mounted drive;
• Formed steel guards that enclose drive belts completely;
• Sealed, pre-lubricated ball bearings;
• Constant conveying speed of 28 feet per minute;
• Optional alternative constant speeds or variable speeds available;
• Bed bolted together with butt couplings, with rollers spaced every three, four, or six inches;
• Maximum capacity of 300 pounds with supports on ten-foot centres, or 1,000 pounds with supports on five-foot centres; and
• Optional angle-type guard rail.
