They are based on silicon micro-machined MEMS capacitive accelerometer technology, and are available in single, dual and triaxial configurations. These units offer excellent long-term stability and high sensitivity, yet have a rugged construction, making them ideal for use in harsh environments. Suitable applications include robotics, tower cranes, vehicle testing, low frequency vibration measurement and automatic control systems.
