Designed for ease of use
The table-up broaching machine is designed to eliminate the need for broaching pits and work platforms. Its table-up feature allows parts to be loaded at operator or floor level instead of from a platform, making the operator’s job easier. The result is fewer problems and greater productivity.
In addition, the “pitless” design makes machine relocation easier, so it can be included in manufacturing cells. It also increases cell design flexibility with ergonomic workstations. This design allows the machine to be used in conjunction with a broad range of secondary operations because the operator can easily inspect, drill, tap and mark workpieces that have been broached.

The table-up broaching machine may be specified with a variety of optional equipment, including magnetic and mechanical chip conveyors, shuttle tables, multiple fixturing, auto load/unload, broach removal devices and coolant lubrication. Ohio Broach manufactures the machines in strokes from 36 to 90 inches, and in five- to 30-ton capacities.
