Megadyne-Jasonrecycling belts are often found in various recycling applications, including material-recovery facilities, scrap recyclers (i.e., shredders), tires, and electronics. These rubber, polyurethane, and PVC belts feature materials with strong bonds for resistance to chemicals, oils, and caustic compounds; they also resist physical damage by metal and glass. Rubber belts are heat-vulcanized to prevent wear and abrasion, while polyurethane and PVC belts are perfect for separating tasks; the latter have heat-welded cleaner cleats, sides to prevent spillage, and guides for better tracking.

The following types of recycling belts are available:

• Timing belts.Brands include Isoran Platinum and Silver2, Megapower2, and HTB. Isoran Platinum is Megadyne-Jason’s premium rubber timing belt, guaranteeing extreme dimensional stability under static and dynamic tension, while the Silver2 offers high levels of performance, better power transmission, and increased power-load capacity. Unimatch Classical belts perform in tandem in multiple V-belt drives with drive efficiency and high performance; Unimatch SP Series Metric V-belts enable more power, high-speed ratios, smaller centre distances, and more compact drives; Unimatch Deep Wedge has a narrow, deep cross-section with efficient load-carrying characteristics and high power capability; and Unimatch Banded Classical V offers premium construction bonded together with a fabric-neoprene top band.
• Multi-rib belts.PV Rubber-Ribbed belts are recommended for high-speed and high-ratio drive applications, while Megarib belts are moulded endless with thermoset PU and high-strength stable polyester.
