MOCAP makes three different cap designs for different application types

Tapered, threaded, friction fit

MOCAP麦es its caps in three materials and three basic models. Hundreds of cap designs, sizes, and shapes in low-density polyethylene (LDPE) are available. The company uses a special process for vinyl dip-moulded plastic protective caps that results in custom, flexible PVC units, while letting customers specify length, wall thickness, colour, surface texture and hardness with no extra tooling charges. Also available is a wide variety of rubber caps, EPDM or silicone, which work for paint, powder-coating, or spray-masking applications.

Many sizes are in stock for immediate shipment. MOCAP offers the following three cap designs in its portfolio:

• Friction fit caps –Built to protect fittings and threads from moisture, contamination, or damage. Friction fit caps are non-threaded, which allows users to slide them into place easily and remove them with minimal effort. Options available include round, square, hex, flat, hanger, pull-tab, and straight caps. There are plastic, paper, EPDM, and silicone variations too, each in a different colour.
• Tapered caps –These caps are also designed to protect fittings and threads from moisture, contamination, and damage. MOCAP makes red tapered plug caps, red wide-flange plug caps, yellow thick wide-flange plug caps, yellow thick extra-wide-flange plug caps, and brown paper tapered caps.
• Threaded caps –MOCAP red threaded polyethylene caps perform a similar function to those of the other two kinds, but they also are knurled for easier user application and handling. Three options are available, for BSP/gas fittings, metric threads, or flared JIC fittings. All sizes are available in Mini-Paks and Micro-Packs for customers who require fewer than case quantities.
