The company also manufactures an impressive variety of caps – including three types of threaded polyethylene caps, built to protect threads and fittings from damage.

Constructed of red, low-density polyethylene, these threaded caps have knurled grips for easy application, and they have a superior seal to that of other similar products, applied with a simple hand tightening.

Three different variations of the caps are available:

• BGC Series– designed for British Standard Pipe threads and fittings from 1/8-28 to 1-1/2-11. Thirteen sizes available, ranging from 9.6 to 27.6 millimetres (mm) in length and four to eight in rib count;
• CMT Series– designed for metric threads and fittings from M8 to M52. Available in 20 different sizes, with length ranging from ten to 16 mm and rib count from four to eight; and
• FJC Series– designed for flared JIC fittings from 3/8-24 to 1-7/8 and 3/16 to 1-1/2 tubes. Thirty-three different sizes available, ranging from 4.8 to 38.1 mm in tube size, 7.6 to 25.4 mm in length, and four to eight in rib count.

In addition to protection, MOCAP’s threaded plastic caps are also useful for masking applications during painting and plating. The caps are stocked for immediate shipment and are available in various sizes in mini-paks and micro-packs as well as in regular case quantities.
