The new 1/8 NPT no-drip, siphon-fed, air-atomizing spray nozzle by EXAIR
EXAIR Corporationis the place where smart businesses across North America go for top industrial compressed-air equipment – including a wide array of liquid spray nozzles. The latest innovation from this veteran manufacturer is the new 1/8 NPT no-drip, siphon-fed, air-atomizing spray nozzle. This no-drip nozzle provides a consistent and even flow of non-pressurized fluids in such applications as marking, lubricating, rinsing, cooling, quenching, wetting (moistening), dust control, and humidification.
With unique intelligent design
A key advantage of this product is its unique intelligent design, which allows for the absence of liquid pressure and, in turn, uses gravity-fed or lifted liquids from a siphon height of 91 centimetres. The design of thissiphon-fed unitalso offers the extra benefit of positively stopping liquid flow when the user shuts off the compressed air.
This 1/8 NPT no-drip nozzle is the perfect pick for tasks in which no post-spray dripping is permissible. Post-spray drip wastes expensive coatings, chemicals, water, or other precious resources, while unwanted dripping can also ruin product function on sealing or mating surfaces; it can also ruin the appearances of coated or painted finishing. When the operator shuts off the compressed-air supply, the nozzle positively seals off the flow of liquid, which eliminates all possibility of dripping.
Like all other nozzles available fromEXAIR, including those designed for pressure-fed applications, this siphon-fed, no-drip nozzle is built out of 303 stainless steel, which increases durability and anti-corrosion protection. This atomizing nozzle is available in round and flat fan liquid patterns; the volume of liquid flow depends on either the gravity or the suction height, coupled with air pressure.
Inlets for this nozzle are available in 1/8, ¼, and ½ NPT sizes, as well as various styles, flow rates, and liquid patterns. It meets the requirements of the CE safety standard and is conflict-mineral-free. EXAIR also offers mounting brackets for easier installation in specific areas on product lines.
Prices for this nozzle begin at US$168.
