Compact size

The compact design of the RP/224 ensures this unit takes up a minimum amountof a facility’s valuable floor space. It is solidly constructed and has a rigid baseweldment that acts as both a coolant reservoir and a support for the ram, guideand table assembly.

The RP/224 measures 62 inches wide by 76 inches long and 76 inches tall.

High performance

For instance, the machineways are made from medium carbon steel that is coated with the anti-stickbearing surface Moglice. The ram slides are made from close-grain, high-tensilecast iron that has been ground to ensure a precise fit. The guide block is alsomade from durable cast iron.

The machine utilizes an individual point pressurized system for lubrication, and ithas a high-performance Vickers pump to power the open-loop hydraulics system.
