Process Heaters carries 11 types of cast in heaters.

Process Heatersis a one-stop shop for industrial heating products, including 12 types of heaters. This includes cast in heaters, which come in 11 designs for various applications. Process Heaters carries both water-cooled and air-cooled versions of these products.

L-shaped, band, and more

Cast in heaters come in aluminum or bronze and are highly useful for heating applications in various industries, such as semiconductor and plastics processing, packaging machinery, food service, paper processing, hot melt adhesives, medical equipment, heat-transfer presses, and textile manufacturing. Common applications include vacuum forming, pressure-assist forming, drape and press forming, hopper heating, manifold heating, and hot runner systems.

With air-cooled aluminum heaters, cooling loss is easy to remedy simply by replacing the blower, which is available in different power options. The exhaust hot air from an air-cooled system can help heat a workplace in winter or be ducted outside in the warmer months.

Process Heaters’ lineup of cast in heaters includes:

  • Band.Cast bands in aluminum brass or bronze;
  • Band air-cooled.Cast bands with cooling fins for air cooling, typically with forced-air fans;
  • 与散热鳍片包含带式加热器shroud with blower attached, for a complete heating and cooling package;
  • Band water-cooled.Cast bands with cooling tubes, some of which have heating elements;
  • Cross head die.Cast heater for die, used to insulate electrical wire;
  • Custom-designed cast heater.Can be produced in many shapes and sizes;
  • L-shaped.Recommended for extruders with rectangular, cross-sectional barrels;
  • Platen.May have been machined after casting;
  • Platen water-cooled.Cast platen with cooling tubes;
  • Ring.Cast rings, some with heaters and/or cooling tubes; and
  • Transfer/feed pipe.Better process quality with elimination of hot spots and unevenly heated surfaces.

Process Heaters also supplies band, cable, cartridge, corrosion-resistant, flexible, high-temperature, and radiant heaters and much more.
