The HD display on this pressure regulator is big enough to communicate with complete words, rather than just abbreviations or fault codes. This way, users do not have to refer to separate operator manuals. Complementing the large screen are three big function buttons that make it easy to program and interrogate the device.
The VPPI proportional pressure regular offers outstanding performance in various applications within such industries as electronics, machine tools, assembly technology, food processing, and packaging. Relevant tasks include pressure regulation, testing, dispensing, press, and press-fitting. The device is also perfect for desktop and laboratory applications because of its quiet operation.
Another strength of this new unit is its flexibility. The user can connect as many as five VPPI devices together on a common pressure supply with no separate manifold required; this lowers the complexity and the space requirements. Mounting flexibility is enabled by DIN rail and other mounting options.
Users of the VPPI can regulate pressure through an analog (zero to ten volts, or four to 20 mA) or digital set point. The digital set-point feature eliminates the need for an expensive analog card, because it is possible to choose seven custom set points with only three standard output signals from a master controller. Four preset performance levels are also available – for small or large volumes, continuous flow, or custom applications.
