TheSoft Grip Back Blow Safety Air Gunblasts air into channels, bores, or internal threads of pipes and hoses to blow away debris and liquids. Workers can use these safety air guns for hours with no sign of fatigue, due to the instruments’ special ergonomic design for comfort.
Air nozzle provides back blow
This air gun includes a Model 1006SS Back Blow Air Nozzle, which helps to clear out coolant, chips, and light oil from machinery with a strong, back-facing, 360-degree airflow. One advantage of the nozzle is that it prevents chips getting blown further into the hose or pipe, which takes care of the safety risk of blowing debris out of the far end. Because airflow is directed back towards the user,EXAIRhighly recommends using personal protective equipment, such as chip shields that protect operators from blowing debris.
Compliant with the strict safety standards of the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Conformité Européenne, these safety air guns consume only 22 standard cubic feet per minute of air, at 80 pounds per square inch gauge, and exiting airflow cannot be blocked. They also operate with a sound level of only 80 decibels. The air nozzle has a small profile that fits into openings of 7/8 of an inch and works well on diameters of up to four inches.
