The HPM 4/5/6, which is available in Canada fromDurham Instruments, is a handheld, digital, battery-operated vacuum gauge with a precision A/D converter, as well as a microprocessor to measure the thermocouple tube’s signal output.

During the gauge’s operation, its microprocessor converts the measurement into a pressure reading by employing the gauge tube’s well-defined output/pressure relationship. The gauge then displays the results on a bright, easy-to-read graphical display.
The HPM 4/5/6 runs on nine-volt batteries and is designed for compatibility with the DV-4, DV-5, and DV-6, which are among Teledyne Hastings’ most successful gauge tube families. It is also compatible with calibration reference tubes.
