The three different cap designs available from the MOCAP lineup

MOCAP makes different kinds of caps.

The company carries three main categories of designs for caps, with multiple kinds of vinyl plastic dip-moulded, plastic injection-moulded, and rubber caps for all protection, masking, or finishing requirements. Users get finishing touches for their products and inexpensive masking or protection from debris with these low-cost, high-quality caps – built for assembly, conversion, or shipping tasks.

Three materials and basic models

The MOCAP team uses three materials and three basic models to manufacture itscaps, and it offers hundreds of cap designs, sizes, and shapes in low-density polyethylene (LDPE). The company uses a special process for vinyl dip-moulded plastic protective caps that results in custom, flexible PVC units, while allowing clients to specify length, wall thickness, colour, surface texture, and hardness without any additional tooling charges. A broad range of rubber caps is also available, in EPDM or silicone, which are suitable for paint, powder-coating, or spray-masking applications.

Many sizes are in stock for immediate shipment. The following three cap designs are available fromMOCAP:

• 摩擦帽。Constructed to protect threads and fittings from moisture, contamination, and damage. These caps are non-threaded, which allows users to slide them into place easily and remove them with little effort. Among the options are round, square, hex, flat, hanger, pull-tab, and straight caps. There are plastic, paper, EPDM, and silicone variations too, each in a different colour.
• Tapered caps.These caps are also made to protect threads and fittings from moisture, contamination, and damage. MOCAP offers red tapered plug caps, red wide-flange caps, yellow thick wide-flange caps, yellow thick extra-wide-flange caps, and brown paper tapered caps.
• Threaded caps.MOCAP’s red threaded polyethylene caps perform a similar function to those of the other two models, but they are also knurled for simpler user application and handling. There are three options available – for BSP/gas fittings, metric threads, or flared JIC fittings. All sizes are available in Mini-Paks and Micro-Packs for clients who need fewer caps than the case quantities.
