The collapsible-impeller technology sets these tote mixers apart, allowing mixing of which tote containers are incapable. Collapsible impellers allow the ITM 7000 to overcome the limitation of the standard six-inch opening on plastic totes, by expanding up to 21 inches in internal diameter. The larger blades provide the necessary pumping and tank turnover to bring the product back into specification. Another key feature of these tote mixers is dynamic drive coupling with detachable drive and agitator segments. Detachable segments enable one-person installation and removal, with a design that allows users to buy a single-drive segment and use it on multiple totes with dedicated agitator segments. Cleaning the agitators between applications is not required; this leads to less cleaning and contamination.
Each mixer also includes a mount that allows fully enclosed mixing, as opposed to tote mixers that do not close the tote opening when mounted.
